A marketplace is many merchants behind one checkout. Coriunder onboards your sellers, splits each payment at capture between the seller and the platform, calculates the fees on every order and prepares the seller payouts, all under your brand.
Every seller is a merchant on the platform with its own configuration, statement and payout. Your marketplace sees them as one group, settles them as one group and earns its margin on every order.

Payment methods
The same modules that run a payment service provider run a marketplace: onboarding, processing, fees, settlement and payouts, with the seller as the merchant and your platform as the operator.
Each seller signs up as a sub-merchant through your branded application form. The Onboarding Rules Engine scores the application, runs KYB through the providers you connect and approves, declines or sends it to review, so a seller can start selling soon after finishing the application.
The buyer pays once. At capture the payment is split between the seller and the platform, and each party's share settles on its own statement. Payment methods can be enabled per seller, per country and per currency, and the cashier in each checkout carries your marketplace's brand.
For each order the system calculates the buy rate, the sell rate and any affiliate fees, so you can track orders and margins seller by seller. Rates are configured per seller and per MID, and affiliate commissions settle through the partner program.
Settlement runs for the whole marketplace as a group. The Payout Management System calculates your margins and each seller's fees, holds any reserve your risk policy sets, and prepares the payment order for processing, so each seller receives a payout and a statement that explains it.
Settlement runs in one of two modes, chosen per marketplace and applied to all of its underlying merchants. All fees apply in both.
Each seller gets the Merchant Control Panel, fully branded as your marketplace, with the information and tools they need to run their business: their transactions, refunds, statements and payouts, and limited sub-users for their own staff.
Sellers create their products through the API or in the Merchant Control Panel, and your marketplace pulls those products into its catalogue. Buyers are created and managed through the Customer API and the customer management tools, so sellers and buyers live on the same platform.
The seller applies, the Onboarding Rules Engine scores the application and KYB runs through your connected providers.
The buyer pays in your branded checkout with the payment methods enabled for that seller.
At capture the payment is split, and buy rate, sell rate and affiliate fees are calculated on the order.
Group settlement runs, and the Payout Management System prepares each seller's payment order.
What the marketplace operator gets: seller KYB, split settlement, group settlement, fees-only billing, rolling reserve and a marketplace view in the admin.
