Payment orchestration

Payment orchestration platform for PSPs, acquirers and marketplaces

Connect one merchant base to every acquirer, PSP and payment method you use. Coriunder routes each transaction on 50+ data points, cascades declines to the next eligible MID, and carries the payment through risk, settlement and reconciliation, under your brand.

What a payment orchestration platform does

Most orchestration stops at the routing decision. Coriunder orchestrates the whole payment business around it.

One integration, every provider

Your merchants integrate once. Behind that single connection Coriunder holds every acquirer, PSP and alternative payment method you enable, so adding or dropping a provider is a configuration change, not a development project.

Smart routing on 50+ data points

Routing reads the transaction before it picks a terminal: BIN, card country, shopper country, currency, amount, method, merchant and distribution ratio. Rules are set per merchant, MID, terminal or BIN range, and changes apply on the next transaction.

MID cascading and decline logic

When an acquirer declines, the payment retries on the next eligible MID instead of being lost. Soft declines retry on another acquirer; hard declines move to a different network or method. Every retry is logged with the rule that fired.

Interchange-aware, cost-based routing

Send each transaction profile to the cheapest acquirer that can approve it. Because routing is interchange-aware, you can predict the cost of a payment before it processes and settle merchants on Interchange++ or blended pricing from the same data.

Orchestration beyond the routing decision

Coriunder was built by payment operators, so the same platform onboards the merchant, scores risk, settles fees and reserves, reconciles provider files and pays out. We call it Opayrations: operating your payment business.

Run orchestration as your own product across eight branded interfaces: admin, reports, merchant portal, partner portal, developer centre, web services, hosted payment pages and the wallet. Card data stays inside our PCI DSS Level 1 scope.

How it works

How Coriunder orchestrates a transaction

1

Receive and evaluate

The payment arrives with its data points and is checked against your rules in priority order, with AND/OR logic across 50+ fields. The decision is made inline, so routing adds no wait for the customer.

2

Route and cascade

The payment goes to the chosen acquirer or method. On a decline it cascades to the next eligible MID until it is approved or the options run out.

3

Settle and report

Fees, reserves and statements are calculated on the same record, provider files are reconciled against it, and every transaction keeps the rule that routed it.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is a payment orchestration platform?

A payment orchestration platform connects a merchant base to many acquirers, PSPs and payment methods through one integration and decides, per transaction, which provider processes each payment. It adds smart routing, cascading on decline and a single view of all providers.

  • How does smart routing increase approval rates?

Smart routing sends each payment to the acquirer most likely to approve it, based on data such as BIN, card country, currency, amount and method. When a payment is declined, cascading retries it on the next eligible MID instead of losing the sale.

  • How many acquirers can Coriunder route across?

As many as you have configured. Coriunder offers 500+ integrations and 700+ payment methods, and adding a provider is a configuration change rather than a development project.

  • Can each merchant have its own routing rules?

Yes. Routing rules are set per merchant and can be overridden at the MID, terminal or BIN-range level, with explicit priorities so overlapping rules always resolve the same way.

  • Is Coriunder white-label?

Yes. Coriunder runs under your brand and domain across eight interfaces, including the merchant portal, partner portal, hosted payment pages and developer centre.

  • How long does it take to go live?

Typically 3 days, depending on the providers you connect and the configuration your merchants need.
