From a programme to a card in someone’s hand
Issuing sits on the wallet rather than beside it, so a card is a way to spend a balance you already manage rather than a separate product with its own reconciliation problem.
Your own programme
Run closed-loop issuing with your own BIN configuration, so the card is your product rather than somebody else’s with your logo on it. The issuing partner is assigned per programme, which means different segments can sit behind different processors without the platform noticing.

Who holds a card
Cards are assigned to a merchant, a customer or an affiliate, and an affiliate can issue onward to the customers underneath them. That last case is what makes distribution work: your partner hands out cards, and the balances still roll up to you.
Partners and affiliatesLoading and spending
Load a card from an incoming deposit or a balance transfer, and every authorisation reduces the balance in real time rather than at the end of a batch. Because the card and the wallet read the same ledger, the number the customer sees in the app is the number the terminal will accept.
The balance ledgerAllocations and expiry
Cards are tracked as allocations with their own expiry, so you can see what is issued, what is live and what has lapsed. Vouchers issue against the same prepaid accounts, which is why a promotion and a card are one system rather than two.
VouchersManaged where the account is
Card management sits in the banking portal and the merchant control panel, next to the balance it draws on. Nobody has to leave the account to freeze a card, and your support team is not the only route to doing it.
