Bank payments,
beside the card rails.
PSD2 pay-ins and pay-outs across the EU and UK. Use Open Banking as a primary rail, or as the fallback when a card declines.
Open Banking as a real production rail
Open Banking is no longer a niche channel. Coriunder gives you native pay-in and pay-out flows across PSD2 jurisdictions - usable as a primary rail or as the cashier fallback when a card declines.
EU + UK coverage
Account to account payments alongside the card rails, landing in the same balances, the same reporting and the same reconciliation model as everything else on the platform.
PSD2 native
Send funds directly to customer bank accounts via Open Banking - faster and cheaper than wire for many EU corridors.
Card-decline fallback
When a card declines in the cashier, Open Banking is offered automatically as the next step - the shopper completes the payment without leaving the page.
EU + UK coverage
Coverage across PSD2 jurisdictions - major EU economies plus the UK. Bank coverage depends on the country and the connected ASPSP.
AML scoring on every flow
Open Banking pay-ins and pay-outs are scored against your AML rules. Auto-approve, queue or block based on your thresholds.
How Open Banking flows run
- Initiate
Customer selects Open Banking in the cashier. Coriunder initiates the payment with the customer's bank via PSD2 APIs.
- Authorise
Customer approves the payment in their bank app or web banking. Authentication handled by the bank, not by you.
- Settle
Payment confirmed and settled to your acquirer or bank account. Reported in the same transaction stream as cards.
Frequently asked questions
Which countries are covered?
Coverage follows the providers enabled for your deployment across the European and UK schemes. It is worth confirming the specific corridors you need rather than assuming a market is included.
Can I use Open Banking only as a fallback?
Yes. Configure Open Banking as a primary method, as the card-decline fallback only, or both - the cashier handles the routing.
How do refunds work?
A bank payment is not reversed like a card. Refunds are issued as a separate outbound payment against the original, so the return is traceable to what it reverses.
Does Open Banking improve approval ratios?
For card-decline fallback specifically, yes - recovering deposits that would otherwise abandon. For primary use, Open Banking conversion depends on customer familiarity in your geography.
How is AML applied?
Pay-ins and pay-outs are scored against your AML rules. You define thresholds; the platform auto-approves, queues or blocks accordingly.
Where is data hosted?
Hosting, retention and data residency are set per deployment rather than fixed, and each brand is served from its own domain. Tell our team what your regulator and your customers require and we will confirm the arrangement in writing.
