Coriunder Feature overview 3 min read

Rolling reserve as a first-class workflow

For high-risk merchants, rolling reserve is non-negotiable. Coriunder handles the percentage calculation, the hold period, the release schedule and the audit trail - automatically per merchant.

Per-merchant policy

Reserve as a policy rather than a manual habit: a percentage held for a defined period, set per merchant and per currency, applied every cycle without anyone maintaining a calendar.

Auditable cycles

Every reserve held and released gets a report - what was held, when, why; what was released, to whom, on what date. Audit-grade documentation for every cycle.

Acquirer-aligned

Configure hold periods (typically 90, 120 or 180 days) and release frequency (weekly, monthly). Releases happen automatically per the schedule.

Forecasting

See estimated future releases before they happen. Useful for treasury planning and merchant communications.

Per-currency handling

Each currency has its own reserve calculation, hold period and release schedule. Independent and reconciled separately.

How reserve runs

  1. Configure

Define the reserve policy per merchant - percentage, hold period, release schedule.

  2. Hold

Reserve is held automatically as transactions process. Settlement engine deducts the reserve before payout.

  3. Release

Held funds release on the configured schedule. Releases appear in the merchant's next settlement with full documentation.

Frequently asked questions

How is the reserve percentage decided?

It follows the risk the merchant represents and the terms you agreed with them, set per merchant and per currency rather than as one platform-wide number.

Can different merchants have different hold periods?

Yes. Hold periods are per merchant - common values are 90, 120 or 180 days, but any period is configurable.

What happens if I need to release reserve early?

An early release is an operator action against the specific cycle, recorded like any other, so an exception is visible as an exception rather than quietly changing the policy.

Can the merchant see its own reserve?

Yes. The merchant control panel shows the merchant's current reserve balance, upcoming releases and historical cycles.

How is reserve reported for accounting?

Every reserve event - hold, release, adjustment - appears in the settlement statement and is exportable for accounting reconciliation.

Where is data hosted?

Hosting, retention and data residency are set per deployment rather than fixed, and each brand is served from its own domain. Tell our team what your regulator and your customers require and we will confirm the arrangement in writing.
