Price, present and settle
in their currency.
DCC engine with FX presentment for 35+ currencies and settlement in your chosen currency. Working globally means working in multiple currencies - Coriunder handles the conversion.
FX as a first-class rail
For global merchants, currency conversion is not an afterthought - it's the difference between a customer completing a transaction and abandoning it. Coriunder's DCC engine handles presentment FX and settlement FX as separate concerns.
35+ currencies
Take payment in the currency the customer expects and settle in the one the merchant wants, with the spread and fee you set applied at the point of conversion rather than hidden inside the rate.
DCC engine
The cashier presents in 35+ currencies, auto-detected from the shopper's country, with a manual switcher always available.
Settlement FX
Settle in the currency you choose - independent from presentment. Settlement FX rates locked at processing time for reconciliation accuracy.
Per-merchant FX policy
Different merchants can run different FX policies - DCC enabled or disabled, presentment currencies, settlement currency, FX markup. All configurable per merchant.
Reporting in your currency
Reports and dashboards show transaction values in your settlement currency, with original presentment currency available for any line item.
How currency conversion runs
- Detect
The cashier detects shopper country and offers presentment in the local currency. Customer can override.
- Lock
Conversion rate locked at the moment of payment. Customer sees the exact local-currency amount before confirming.
- Settle
Funds settle in your processing currency at the locked settlement-FX rate. Reconciled per transaction.
Frequently asked questions
How is the FX rate determined?
Rates come from your configured source with your spread applied on top. Because the spread and any fee are held separately from the rate, both the customer-facing number and your margin on it are visible rather than blended into one figure.
Can I disable DCC for specific merchants?
Yes. DCC is configurable per merchant - enable, disable, or apply per-currency policy.
Does DCC affect settlement timing?
No. Presenting a price in the customer's currency and settling the merchant are separate steps, so a conversion at checkout does not change when the merchant is paid or how the settlement cycle runs.
How are refunds handled across currencies?
Refunds reverse at the original FX rate where regulation allows, ensuring no FX gain or loss on either side.
Can the merchant set a custom FX markup?
Yes. FX markup is configurable per merchant. The system tracks the markup separately from the base FX rate for reporting.
Where is data hosted?
Hosting, retention and data residency are set per deployment rather than fixed, and each brand is served from its own domain. Tell our team what your regulator and your customers require and we will confirm the arrangement in writing.
